Sophomore: Any athlete enrolled in the 10th grade who is no older than 16 at the time of competition
Freshman/Sophomore Combined: This is a combined division and is intended for any athlete enrolled in the 9th or 10th grade who is no older than 16 at the time of competition.
Varsity: This division is suited for athletes who have previously competed at the varsity level or who are preparing to do so in the upcoming winter season. It is ideal for those with more competitive experience.
Club/Unattached: A USATF-sanctioned division for athletes not affiliated with a high school, separate from NFHS-sanctioned divisions.
